Dave Lennox Shoot

I worked on a shoot for Lennox Heating and Air systems with the delightful Dave Lennox. The crew from Penguin Productions was so great to work with, there was no shortage of comic relief. Local Lennox dealers came in to shoot commercial spots with Dave (whose real name is actually Bob- but when he is so convincing and has worked as Dave for so long- he just IS Dave Lennox).... Nice people, nice day at work!

Hoopes Vision Shoot

Got swept off my feet by the Utah Jazz mascot, Bear, today when he was on a commercial shoot for Hoopes Vision. Bear was hilarious as he mimed and Allan "translated" for him. I also made up Robin Fraser, assistant coach of Real Salt Lake, and "Big Rog" from The Blaze. Each person has had eye surgeries performed at Hoopes Vision. It was fun!

"The Rich Factor"

I had the oppportunity to work on a shoot for a book called"The Rich Factor" by Scott Bell. Scott was interviewed by Christopher Knight (aka Peter Brady of the Brady Bunch). Christopher was very kind and professional, I enjoyed our conversation while I did his makeup. It was my first time working with the director, Chris Jensen, he was so pleasant and set a great tone on set. I love my work, I get to meet so many different people.

TNT NBA Playoffs

I got a call from TNT to makeup the broadcasters, Marv Albert and Reggie Miller, for the Jazz vs. Lakers game on April 26th in Salt Lake City. It was a fun evening and Marv and Reggie were very kind. My husband was rather jealous that:
1. I was at the game and he wasn't
2. I met and chatted with Reggie Miller, as my husband is a fan.
3. The green room where I was working was a "Who's Who" among the NBA.
Great evening of work!

Picabo Street

Picabo Street hosts a show called "Women of Winter" for Resort Sports Network. We shot on a freezing day in Park City, Utah. Picabo was so gracious and high energy. I had a wonderful time meeting her and doing her makeup. She is an amazing athlete and person.

Stephenie Meyer

I had the opportunity to do makeup for Stephenie Meyer for her media appearances in Utah. As a Twilight fan it was very exciting! Stephenie and her publicist, Elizabeth, were very kind. Stephenie is so down to earth for practically having rock star status.

Utah Valley Magazine Shoot

My friend and fellow makeup artist, Lyn Shelley, called me to help her with a shoot for Erin Olsen and Utah Valley Magazine. Erin is a former fashion model and now is a certified clothing stylist and runs http://www.shapecandy.com/. I had the opportunity to do Erin's and two of the model's makeup for the shoot. Wonderful meeting Erin and the great gals. The photographer, Emilie Decker, did a wonderful job. Thanks for letting me post photos Emilie!

Lisa Hansen, the TwilightMom

I was so excited to spend some time with twilightmoms.com founder Lisa Hansen and photographer, Georgia Cranston (aka gypsy wings). As a fellow Twilight fan and mom we had a great time while I did Lisa's makeup for her new headshots.

Today's Mama Rachael Herrscher

Rachael Herrscher, the founder of todaysmama.com, is being recognized by a Utah business magazine as one of "30 Women To Watch". I got to do Rachael's makeup for her photoshoot for the magazine. It was delightful meeting Rachael and her family (including a six week old daughter) at their home. I am amazed at all Rachael has accomplished . Today's Mama is a great go-to site for women and mamas everywhere.

ESPN came to Salt Lake City to broadcast AFL football. The on-camera talent are Randy Paush and Marcellus Wiley.

Live United

I had a great and very busy day working on the "Live United" campaign with photgrapher Derek Smith and Love Communications. I made-up about 60 employees of several companies that support the United Way.

"Real Families, Real Answers" shoot

I had the opportunity to work on the set of "Real Families. Real Answers" with host Jane Clayson Johnson. It was a real pleasure meeting Jane and doing her hair and makeup. She is beautiful, smart and professional. Jane is also the author of the book, "I Am a Mother". It was real treat to talk parenting with someone so dedicated to motherhood.

"Real Families, Real Answers" will be shown on PBS, KBYU and the BYU channel.

Glenn Beck

I had the opportunity to do Glenn Beck's makeup when he was the keynote speaker at the Melaleuca convention in Salt Lake City. Glenn is a best selling author and tv/radio personality.

He was kind enough to send for Sherry Drabner (my friend and makeup artist to the stars) and I when he was taking pictures backstage
